Matte shelf build needed another try

The matte black looks a little different in our evening lighting than it did on screen. The item itself is doing what I bought it for. The matte black also works in the room.

Had it a couple of weeks now. The rustic brown is cooler in daylight and warmer in the evening. I still like how it sits in the space.
