In daylight the finish has a warmer wood tone and works well with the shelving behind me.

I was mainly worried about movement while writing. So far the surface stays where I put it.

The cable tray is helpful, but I should have decided where every plug was going before fixing the cables in place.

My laptop charger and monitor leads finally stay together instead of dropping to the floor.
